OneNote Pak allows IT admins to organize and manage configuration settings in the Microsoft Office application.
(PRWEB) January 05, 2013
PolicyPak, a leader in desktop security management, recently unveiled a new Pak for OneNote 2010, which is part of the popular Microsoft Office Suite.
The pre-configured Pak used in conjunction with PolicyPak Professional software allows IT admins to deliver configuration settings that can't be tampered with my users. The software even allows admins to enforce configuration settings for drop down menus in OneNote. Screenshots and step by step instructions for the Pak can be found here.
Jeremy Moskowitz, founder of PolicyPak Software, talks about how easy it is to deliver, enforce, and remediate settings in the OneNote Pak by saying, “You can ensure that important IT settings, such as Privacy and Proofing options are specified and ensured.”
PolicyPak can deliver settings using Group Policy, Microsoft SCCM, Dell KACE, or any other management tool.
PolicyPak Professional customers have free access to the OneNote Pak, as well as a plethora of other pre-configured Paks. Some of the most popular applications provide solutions for Java, Flash, Firefox and Shockwave.
Desktop management options are also available for less popular applications and custom homegrown applications with the PolicyPak Design Studio.
IT Admins can find out more about PolicyPak by attending a Group Policy Webinar at the PolicyPak Website, or by calling (800) 883-8002.
