The CornerView shower enclosure, by DreamLine is a simple yet elegant solution for a corner square shower, it is designed to be installed against finished walls. The enclosure is made out of 3/16” clear tempered glass with an anodized aluminum frame plated with polished chrome. It consists of two stationary panels adjacent to the walls and two corner-opening sliding panels that open to the sides. The door is sealed with a magnetic door latch running the full length of the door's edge.
The SHEN-8134344-01 enclosure is 34” by 34” wide; its stationary panels are 16 1/2” wide each, the door panels are 17 1/2” wide each; when fully opened the door leaves 17 1/2” walk-in opening. The enclosure is 72 7/8” tall, including the frame.
The CornerView shower enclosure can be installed on a custom-made tile floor pan or on a corresponding DreamLine white acrylic shower base, model SHTR-1036360-00. It needs to be noted that the shower base is two inches larger than the enclosure. The reason is that the base is attached directly to studs on two sides (in other words behind the finished wall), and the glass panels with the door are installed in the middle of the thresholds.
The shower enclosure can also be installed in combination with a corresponding white acrylic backwall made by DreamLine, model SHBW-1440742-00.
DreamLine recommends, in order to insure long lasting life of the glass shower enclosures, to wipe them off after each use with a soft cloth. Rinse and wipe of the glass using either soft cloth or squeegee to prevent soap buildup. Never use abrasive cleaners and cleaning products that contain scoring agent because this may scratch the surface. Never use bristle brushes or abrasive sponges.
To assure a long lasting finish the owner needs to wipe off the metal parts after each use with a soft cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners or cleaning products containing ammonia, bleach or acid. If accidentally used, the surface needs to be rinsed as soon as possible to prevent finish corrosion. After cleaning the shiny finishes, they need to be rinsed thoroughly and wiped dry with soft cloth. When applying stainless steel cleaner or polish never use abrasive sponge or cloth, steel wool or wired brushes.
