Crystorama Introducing Lines Inspired By Elements of Nature and Classic Lighting Design

New Products, Line Extensions Debuting During January Dallas Market

(PRWEB) January 03, 2013

Elements of nature and the classics of lighting design are the leading inspirations for new creations that Crystorama will debut during the Dallas International Lighting Market on January 17-21.

“We continue to see the extensive use of natural elements in all areas of design, ranging from fashion apparel to home décor,” said Brad Kleinberg, president of Crystorama, one of the nation's leading suppliers of decorative chandeliers. “At the same time, there remains strong demand for classic lighting designs that are updated and interpreted for today's consumer.”

Leading the natural elements trend for Crystorama is its Eva Collection, an empire basket shaped fixture featuring domes of rock crystal beading and rope trim. The irregular shape and coloring of the rock crystal is reminiscent of river stone and amplifies the texture of the rope for a handmade look.

Crystorama is enhancing its Broche Collection with two spherical shaped chandeliers, a wall sconce with a climbing vine and a ceiling mount fixture featuring intricate hand-painted leaves. To bring additional surface interest, the chandeliers have a two-toned effect with an exterior bronze finish and a gold interior that reflects light.

Crystorama is continuing to interpret the classics for today's homeowner as evidenced by Avery, which boasts of high quality cut crystal in a new bell jar shape and ceiling mount. This design results in maximum light output that is ideal for hallways, bathrooms and closets, and it's perfect for the upscale homeowner who is looking for elegantly clean lines.

The Simone Collection epitomizes an updated antique look with an ideal mix of draped crystal and extended lines. With glass arms, this traditional chandelier features sleek bobeches and elongated crystal of Ice Blue and Golden Shade, resulting in an exciting mix of colors similar to today's jewelry trends.

A traditional ornate base with a modern flair makes the Delancey Collection a refreshed interpretation of the traditional crystal chandelier. Well-proportioned draping crystal in mixed shades of Golden Shade and Clear give this classic a contemporary flavor. Delancey is available as a four, six or eight-light chandelier, wall sconce or flush ceiling mount.

The Filmore Collection refines the classic elements of Crystorama's Maria Theresa line for a younger audience. A streamlined metal frame and minimum glass structure define this trimmed down look, perfect for new homeowners. Available in Vibrant Bronze and Antique Gold, the collection contains five chandeliers, two sconces and two ceiling mounts.

Representing a radical mix of styles is Amelia, a six-light colonial-style chandelier that is fresh and artsy. A large center ball available in two finishes is the focal point detailed with thin iron arms and Aged Ivory bobeches. The traditional thick center stem has been replaced with whimsical iron work for a look that is sure to draw attention.

The Cameron Collection is a hybrid series inspired by Crystorama's best-selling Odette and Solaris Collections. Crystorama created the Cameron Collection in response to growing consumer demand for lighting fixtures that have the look of art. These chandeliers feature wrought iron and geometric fixtures in an English Bronze finish for multiple room settings. Offered in five fixture options, Cameron is available with or without frosted white glass.

Rounding out its Dallas introductions, Crystorama is offering additional finishes in three of its collections, Channing, Parson and Calypso. Channing is available in Chocolate Chrome, Parson has been expanded to include an English Bronze finish and Calypso is offered in Vibrant Bronze finish. These darker tones reflect consumer demand for statement lighting in contemporary finishes.

“Elements of nature and traditional classics are timeless inspirations for every generation,” Kleinberg said. “Our fresh take on these long-standing trends culminate in beautiful, in-demand products that will resonate with consumers.”
