The National Society of Leadership and Success offers numerous scholarships and grants that are available to our members to provide with financial assistance for higher education. The Society's scholarship program will help awarded members to continue their education, pursue their dreams, and find innovative ways to support their communities.

The National Society of Leadership and Success offers numerous scholarships and grants that are available to our members to provide with financial assistance for higher education. The Society's scholarship program will help awarded members to continue their education, pursue their dreams, and find innovative ways to support their communities.    

The winners are:
Emerging Leader Scholarship:
The Emerging Leader Scholarship is intended to recognize and reward demonstrated leadership ability and accomplishment. Scholarships are awarded twice per year, with funds distributed directly to the academic intuition to apply against tuition and fees.

$1,000 Winners are:

  •     Lauren Bruno, Pennsylvania State University
  •     Chrona Conley, University of Central Florida
  •     Zachary Dunton, University of Wisconsin
  •     Sara Harden, North Carolina State University
  •     Jessica Kaczmarczyk, Michigan State University
  •     Dominique May, Western Oregon University
  •     Alexander Purdy, University of Wisconsin
  •     Mary Stuart Sanderson, East Carolina University
  •     Rudolfo Tapia, Front Range Community College
  •     Dalila Valdovinos, Universityof Michigan

Financial Aid: Materials Grant:
The purpose of this grant is to support members with financial needs in purchasing materials needed to pursue higher education.

$200 Winners are:

  •     Eva Ratliff, Jackson State University
  •     Fatima Guerrab, Wake Technical Community College

  •     Jesse Johnson, Indiana University Northwest

National Excellence in Leadership Scholarship:
Outstanding leaders among the Society community will receive this scholarship annually, in recognition of demonstrated accomplishment and service to others as leaders. Winners are chosen based upon the strength of the essays, recommendations, membership history, and community service record.

$5,000 Winners are:

  •     Joshua Hinds, Davenport University
  •     Jennifer Drake, University of Michigan

Dream Support Grant:
The purpose of this grant is to support individuals in achieving their dreams. Applicants are encouraged to be creative: the primary guiding requirement for this funding is that the request will have a significant impact on achieving your dreams.

Winners are:

  •     Monica Contreras, Mercyhurst University, $1,000 award
  •     Bria Hickman, Nashville State Community College, $5,000 award
  •     Deanna McGhie, University of South Florida, $1,000 award
  •     Diana Santullano, University of Wisconsin, $3,000 award

Financial Aid: Tuition Scholarship:
This grant is available to two Society members each semester and is need-based.

$5,000 Winners are:

  •     Katie Luttrell, Brenau University
  •     Violet Parmeter, Davenport University

Global Leader Scholarship:
The world faced by today's leaders is more globally focused, requiring a diversity of experience and understanding of disparate cultures. The Society recognizes the importance of experiential learning, and offers a scholarship to two members per year that are pursuing academic studies abroad relevant to global leadership.

$2,000 The winner is:

  •     Julie Vanderzwaag, Davenport University

Dream Support Grant: (Submission deadline dates February 1 -15)
This grant competition is conducted four times annually. The purpose of this grant is to support individuals in achieving their dreams. Applicants are encouraged to be creative: the primary guiding requirement for this funding is that the request will have a significant impact on achieving your dreams.

Better World Grant: (Submission deadline dates February 1 - 15)
This grant competition is conducted four times annually. Applicants submit a proposal for a project, business or other endeavor that furthers the Society's mission "we build leaders who make a better world" and specify the requested grant amount.
