(PRWEB) January 03, 2013

The trade fairs are organised by Hong Kong Trade Development Council, with Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd co-organising the Stationery Fair. They will run concurrently 7-10 January 2013 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Capture Kidult Hearts
The 2013 Toys & Games Fair incorporates a special highlight on items for the adult market, with buyers that are very demanding of product quality from toy manufacturers and suppliers. The newly launched Kidult World brings three zones - hobby goods; magic items; vehicles, mechanical toys & action figures - under one umbrella.

Collectable items are still one of the main toy categories at the upcoming trade fair. Hongqi Limousine Model and AC030 P38J Lightning (1:72 SCALE) are two very different styles of collectables, presented by Century Dragon Diecast Model Limited(HK) and Oxford Diecast (HK) Limited respectively.

Interactive games make up a high proportion of the products in the Kidult market. Augmented Reality (AR) toy gun with game app, developed by Maksco (HK), let players enjoy the fun of mixing virtual vision and physical reality with real-time display.

The crossover of traditional toys with digital applications is a new trend. Identity Games International BV's (Netherlands) GameChanger and Diset's (Spain) iPawn, both combine traditional board games with iPad technology. GameChanger won the “Creative Toy Award” of the “Game of the Year Award 2012” organised by the US Creative Child Magazine.

The Hong Kong local company, Toyeast Limited's 1/24 VsTank Bluetooth iPhone Control Battle Tank can be controlled by iPad, iPod touch or iPhone connected by Bluetooth without any other attachment. VsTank is designed to allow multiple players to battle interactively with realistic battle sound effects and tank reaction.

Baby Products not only for Babies
With the baby product industry expanding rapidly, the surge in demand for good quality baby items continues. A major industry trend sees more and more baby product manufacturers and suppliers trying to lengthen the life span of their products.

In the new Baby Fashion Avenue of the Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, Mayoral Moda Infantil SA (Spain) offers a diverse range of baby products, baby clothing and baby accessories. Bearing in mind that each age range has its own characteristics and requirements, Mayoral has created different brands, divided by segments of age.

Childhome, Belgian Finest Design, introduces the new Childwood EVOLU baby high chair for children from six months (when they sit unaided) all the way to the age of six years. The three-position Evolu high chair allows the baby to join the family at the dining table but also at the high modern kitchen bar.

Friendley Limited, a Kong Kong company, represents a Spanish brand BE COT which clearly breaks away from its more traditional counterparts. With an inventive use of both straight and curved lines, the cot is designed to project an ethereal feeling. The baby cot structure is transformed by turning it upside down to become the BE DESK, forming a personal work space for children.

Ofrat Baby Toys Manufacturers Ltd.'s (Israel) unique 3-in-1 new Royal tricycle is a multi-feature tricycle which provides a safe way of travelling from baby's tenth month; it grows with the child from that age up to three years, with its specially designed seat belt.

Far and beyond stationery
Stationery nowadays goes much beyond the back-to-school business. The industry is now developing more impressive designs with eco concepts, and reaching out to new target buyers and consumers.

Trade Fair visitors will be able to see Yuan Pin's new eco-friendly alternative to the non-woven bag – an eco-bag made of natural stone granules and ashes. A more economical choice than non-woven bags and paper bags, this eco-bag has an interesting textural feel due to its special materials. It is also completely waterproof.

At Creative Premium Company, products are sold with smart concepts. A local Hong Kong company which creates the popular brand, nudesign, has developed Le Jardin collection to accommodate “green” demand by bringing an all-in-one decor to mix-and-match desktop decorations, organisers and pens & stationery stands. More than just a stationery novelty, it also brightens up the work and home environment.

Entering a new realm of business, many stationery suppliers have introduced computer consumables in order to capture the attention of the huge number of computer users. actto, a Korean company, will make its first appearance at the Stationery Trade Fair to exhibit an extensive array of computer accessories, from mousepads, USB hubs to notebook and tablet stands.

In addition to functionality, stationery can also bring fun and joy to our daily lives. Ni Hau Industrial Co., Ltd. has designed and created a series of writing instruments, Rabbit Pen & Giraffe Pen replicating the animals' appearance. The little desktop gadget will definitely add fun to users' lives.

These three concurrent trade fairs will definitely create a prime sourcing opportunity for buyers to further broaden their business scope and network.
