The classes are scheduled twice a month, but patients should call for the most up-to-date scheduling information. While discussing hearing aids and hearing advancements, patients can snack on cookies and coffee and speak with the educated doctors of audiology about their hearing needs. The seminars are also designed for patients to share their experiences with one another so they can learn how other people deal with hearing problems.

Dr. Mary O. Thorpe completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She then received her Masters degree in Audiology at the University of Kansas. After practicing Audiology for 25 years, Dr. Thorpe completed her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. She is currently Board Certified in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology as well as the Florida Academy of Audiology.
As an audiologist in the Kansas City area, Dr. Thorpe practiced in various settings including, hospitals, health maintenance organizations, and Ear, Nose and Throat practices. Dr. Thorpe gained a wide range of experience in diagnostics, including audiologic, balance testing, and hearing aid fittings. She has experience with all age groups coming from this diverse background.
