The Complaint was filed in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Kings County. The complaint alleges that Rapaport Law Firm's client, Cristal Santos, was subjected to unwanted sexual advances during her employment with Securitas. The complaint also alleges that Ms. Santos was subjected to retaliation, and was ultimately terminated from her job, after she reported the incidents to Securitas' management.
The Complaint, which was filed with the New York State Supreme Court in Brooklyn, seeks compensatory and punitive damages against Securitas. According to the complaint, Ms. Santos' supervisor at Securitas "subjected Ms. Santos to sexual harassment in the form of lewd and sexual remarks, repeated and unwelcome sexual advances."
The Complaint, which has been assigned docket number 24530/2012 by the Kings County Supreme Court, sets forth causes of action against Securitas under both the New York State and New York City Human Rights Laws.
