The world-renowned film festival, which was founded in 1990 by then Palm Springs mayor Sonny Bono, will be rolling-out the red carpet in early January for Hollywood's most powerful movers and shakers. The 2013 star-studded event, which is expected to draw-in over 135,000 attendees, has recently put a significant spotlight on the Palm Springs area – in particular real estate in Palm Springs.
