According to court documents, Mr. Lee was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, two counts of vehicular assault, two counts of DUI and one count of reckless driving.
According to Steven Rodemer, partner at McDowell, Laybourne & Rodemer, LLC, who represented Mr. Lee: “The verdict, and the speed at which the jury decided the case, was a clear message that they rejected the prosecution's case entirely.”
Over the course of the 5 day trial, the jury heard from a number of experts, both for the prosecution and the defense, but ultimately agreed with the defense.
