TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 4, 2013) - On January 9, 2013 Windfall Basics will be launching a new campaign, Wear White 4 Women. The campaign will help raise awareness of issues surrounding women living in poverty and raise funds to provide them with much-needed new clothing and other basic-needs items. We are thrilled to announce our new campaign poster will feature Toronto celebrities wearing white to support women, and will be featured throughout TTC subways, buses and streetcars. White heart pins will be sold to the public as a way of spreading the message.
A special thanks to the 2013 WW4W Sponsors: TD Bank Group, Manulife Financial, Barrick Gold, Best Health Magazine, Proud FM and H&M.
On January 9, the Shangri-La Hotel will celebrate this inaugural campaign with a poster launch party. The Shangri-La Hotel is located in the centre of downtown at University and Adelaide and is Toronto's newest luxury accommodation.
