paddypowerpoker.com today announces Paddy's Tournament Championship, a yearlong leader board battle to determine the best tournament poker players with a prize pool of $100,000.
Each week in 2013, players at Paddy Power Poker will be ranked on how much they play and how well they perform in multi-table tournaments and sit & go's.
Championship play commences from January 7, 2013.
The top 30 players in each Weekly Leader Board win a cash prize, with $100 going to the top player. The top 100 also get Monthly Leader Board points.
The top 75 players in the Monthly Leader Board will share more than $2,000 in cash with the winner getting $500. What's more, the top 150 get Yearly Leader Board points.
As the year progresses the Yearly Leader Board will take shape and the top 200 players will share in $50,000, with the overall winner receiving a $6,000 Irish Open 2014 package. What's more, they'll also receive Champion Rewards, which include their own bounty tournament, a blog, and a chance to formally open the Irish Open 2014.
In total $100,000 will be given away in Paddy's Tournament Championship.
