Irish jewelry retailer ‘Celtic Promise' celebrates its second Holiday Season in business with very strong online sales of its fine Celtic jewelry and contemporary Irish jewelry.
New York, NY (PRWEB) December 31, 2012
Frustrated by her inability to source quality Irish jewelry designs outside of Ireland, Celtic Promise co-founder Siofra Hill launched her online business in October 2011, with an aim to connect Irish jewelry designers with online purchasers in the US and Internationally. The company is celebrating strong end of year sales and increased site traffic at the end of this, their second holiday season.
“When we first set out to build an online jewelry business, I was advised that the first few years of business would be slow,” says Hill, “However we are thrilled with the big increase in sales, very positive customer feedback and 400% increase in traffic to our website this Holiday Season versus 2011.”
In a market that has become saturated with low-end and dated online websites, Celtic Promise has distinguished itself by with a more exclusive and fresh product offering with a higher level of customer service. Hill and her team regularly travel to Ireland to seek out new jewelry designers to work with to ensure that their store remains fresh and enticing for customers. This year the company has added new Irish designers to its catalog including contemporary designers Rachel Swan, Caroline King and renowned Celtic goldsmiths Breda Haugh and Declan Killen.
“We are very pleased by the reaction of the market and of designers to our new business. We are excited by the prospect of continued growth in 2013, and will certainly be on the lookout for new and exciting designers to add to our team,” adds Hill.
In the year ahead Celtic Promise will focus on expanding its business through extensive online marketing in the US and by building on their existing social media presence to reach out to new customers. The company will continue to build on their product offering of fine Celtic jewlery and contemporary Irish jewelry across price points to capitalize on the upward trend in sales.
