Search Eccentric, which has recorded a phenomenal growth, recently expressed its desires to double both the project it handled in 2012 as well as double the revenue. The announcement came during the all day open house meet between the management and top employees of each department, which took place at a posh auditorium in Gurgaon, a tech-city situated near New Delhi where the head office of Search Eccentric is located. For the same purpose, Mr Gaurav Sabharwal, business head of Search Eccentric, has left for USA, a country which hosts a large chunk of existing Search Eccentric customers, and will be scouting for new projects. He plans to bring a shift in the numbers of offshore SEO staffing in 2013 and would be meeting new prospects to have a better start in January.
There was also a motivational session organized by the company with a top management guru. He addressed the employees and taught the importance of setting goals, how to never stop pursuing it and also how to proceed methodically to achieve those goals. According to the employees who attended the seminar, the session “revealed many things and threw new lights on things we already knew”.
The employees were asked to note own professional goals as well and the consultant showed how to do it. “The goal setting isn't an arbitrary process but it takes consideration of aspiration and abilities and a balance recipe of both” the company consultant said. The goals were shared with the management later who promised to help employees to achieve their goals.
There was an open discussion between the management and employees as well where the management enquired about the needs and wishes of the employees. The heads of each department were chosen to represent his/her department and spoke on behalf of the department. The management noted down requests made and problems cited by the employees and promised a quick solution.
