Inside the pages of Sherry Loeffler's new book, The Guardian Angel: The Life of Jesus Seen Through the Eyes of His Guardian Angel ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-62419-866-3; $25.99, hardcover, 978-1-62419-959-2; $7.99, e-book, 978-1-62419-908-0) children will get a glimpse of what life was probably like for Jesus growing up. Grounded in historical research, the author paints a picture of Jesus that is accessible and approachable for kids today.
“I want children to understand that Jesus was just like them when He was on this earth,” states the author. “It shows the life of Jesus as a child and growing up, so children can understand that He played games as a child and did the same things they do now.”
