Foundation Financial Group Concluded Q4 Philanthropic Initiative, Reaching 120 Percent of Goal


On November 16th Foundation Financial Group concluded its fourth quarter 2012 philanthropic campaign, Drive to 7,500, and announced that the company met its fundraising goal by 120 percent.

On November 16th Foundation Financial Group concluded its fourth quarter 2012 philanthropic campaign, Drive to 7,500, and announced that the company met its fundraising goal by 120 percent.

The national food drive benefited Salvation Army chapters in every city that Foundation Financial has a Branch Office or Regional Call Center. The objective of the Drive to 7,500 was to feed a minimum of 7,500 people this Thanksgiving Season through a combination of monetary and nonperishable food item donations. This was the first FFG philanthropy campaign of its kind, and included the community in the fundraising and donation collection efforts.

“FFG's Drive to 7500 has been one of the best philanthropic initiatives we have ever done,” said Foundation Financial Group Event Coordinator, Billy Gilchrist. “I am extremely proud of our employee's contributions and their involvement, getting out in their communities to try and drive higher donations for Salvation Army. I was also thoroughly impressed by how excited and involved every employee was in donating not only monies but also canned foods to try and make a difference. As the company neared its common goal, there was an amazing push from all FFG offices to not only hit the goal, but to exceed it so that we could make a maximum impact on families this Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for all of our employee's efforts.”

In addition to the funds raised by FFG employees, their friends and families, and the community, Foundation Financial Group allocated all fourth quarter philanthropic budgets to the initiative.
