New Book Makes Case for Extraterrestrial Intelligence

Author lays out scientific evidence of non-human intelligent life outside Earth

Do non-human intelligent beings exist in our solar system or is this just something out of the movies? According to Thomas N. Hackney's new book “The ETi Grail,” extraterrestrial intelligence is real.

Hackney says the two most famous and extraordinary meteor impact events in history were not random accidents of nature but rather two parts of a three-part ET response to NASA's search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) project, which began on October 12, 1992. Hackney identifies more than thirty articulating details from the three events, the largest of which was the collision of two solar system bodies that resulted in the most energetic explosion ever seen in our solar system.

Hackney explains that because an ET has already discovered Earth and its inhabitants, contact with Earth did not involve the use of radio waves. Like all scientific searches for extraterrestrial intelligence conducted since 1961, NASA's $100 million SETI project searched only for intelligently produced radio waves. Evidence of ET was not heard or collected in a dish, but it was seen.

“No one disputes the events happened,” Hackney says, “but it was through these events that an indirect communication was dispatched to the SETI researchers at NASA, as well as to the inhabitants of Earth. The main purpose of the book is to elucidate that communication.”

Because the alien messages consisted of actions rather than electromagnetic beeps or radio waves, the SETI investigators have officially denied that the signaling events in question were intelligently produced. However, Hackney does not rule out the possibility that on the grounds of national security, the federal government has kept mum on what Hackney believes was clearly an interworld exchange.
