Podolsky, Amsterdam Hospitality Donates Hotel Rooms to Hurricane Sandy Victims
Amsterdam Hospitality Group, a NY based Hotel management company has and is still donating hotel rooms for displaced NY residents affected by Hurricane Sandy.

According to Amsterdam Hospitality Group's president Stuart Podolsky, his hotel management company has offered free hotel rooms to more than dozens displaced NY residents who lost their homes during Hurricane Sandy. “ After I saw the devastation that Sandy caused to many New Yorkers, thousands lost their homes, we could not sit and just watch, so I met with my team and decided to offer accommodations in several of our hotels to these unfortunate families, I simply felt their pain”.
This is not the first time that the hotel chain has offered assistance to distressed people. Back in 2009 they housed passengers of US Airways flight 1549 that landed in the Hudson river.
Amsterdam Hospitality Group manages several hotels in NYC and according to its President, the displaced residents that they are housing can stay in their hotels until needed.
