National Camp Series Associates (NCS) Dan Orner of Dan Orner Kicking and Punting and Brady Beeson of Husted Kicking, have both had high school kicking clients picked for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl according to NCS founder Michael Husted.

The U.S. Army All-American Bowl is considered the Nation's Premier High School All-Star Football Game and will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at the Alamodome, in San Antonio, TX.

Participating in this year's game will be kicker Christian VanSickle who works with kicking coach Dan Orner of Dan Orner Kicking and Punting, and Grant Ryerse who works with kicking coach Brady Beeson of Husted Kicking.

Husted, who kicked in the NFL for 9 years and then created the NCS after retiring, says the selection of Christian and Grant for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl was a solid choice.

"After speaking with both Dan and Brady, as well as watching video of Christian and Grant, the selection was a 'no brainer',” says Husted. “These young kickers are outstanding and only prove that the position of kicker, punter and long snapper is becoming more and more specialized at a young age. Our NCS coaching network is 'second to none' and we pride ourselves on ensuring that these young specialists are getting the best coaching in the world, on and off the field."

The U.S. Army All-American Bowl is the nation's premier high school football game, featuring the best 90 players in a classic East vs. West match-up every January in San Antonio's Alamodome and broadcast live on NBC. Last year's U.S. Army All-American Bowl marked the 12th anniversary of the game and drew a record crowd of 39,011.

The history and tradition of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is unparalleled, highlighted by Heisman Trophy winners and more than 200 NFL players counted among its alumni.

Throughout the years, the game has featured the nation's most elite football players, providing a launching pad for college and NFL stars such as Andrew Luck, Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Ndamukong Suh, Marcus Lattimore and Patrick Peterson.

Beeson, who is a kicking coach for Husted Kicking says Grant Ryerse -who will kick for the West- has 'done the work' and deserves this opportunity.

“Grant Ryerse is an exceptional young talent I have been working with out of Woodbury, MN,” says Beeson. “Grant has been blessed with a tremendous leg on top of great athletic ability. He came to me to work on the technique, consistency and mental training aspects that come with the position. He has the tools to be a D1 kicker in the future, if he continues to work on his craft. Grant's hard work has definitely paid dividends in his young kicking career. He has shown steady improvements in all phases since we began working together.”

Orner, of Dan Orner Kicking and Punting says the steady improvement in Christian VanSickle's skills as a kicker is due to the ‘hard work' VanSickle -who will kick for the East- has put into his training.

“Christian VanSickle is an excellent young kicker that is a true weapon for Marvin Ridge Middle School Football Team in Charlotte, NC,” says Orner. “He has a strong leg, makes kicks with consistency, and shows great potential for a top college prospect in 4 years. As an eighth grade kicker, Christian already kicks FG's off the ground back to 45 yards, has had multiple touchbacks this year, and has a pro style punting approach that helps him turnover 35-40 yard punts with ease.”

Orner adds, “Christian is one of the hardest working young kickers that I have worked with, and most importantly, a great young man.”
