Stars and Stripes Conducts Operation Letters to Santa to help Deliver Military Children's Christmas letters

Letters to Santa provides a festive and fun way for children in the military community in Europe to send their letters to the North Pole and receive a note back.

(PRWEB) November 01, 2012

It's the most wonderful time of year and Santa is preparing for his big trip on Christmas Eve. During this time, Santa, with help from his elves at Stars and Stripes, will respond to letters he receives from children of U.S. military personnel stationed across Europe.

Children are encouraged to write to Santa as soon as they know what they want. Drop the letter into any MPS mailbox by December 24 and make sure to provide a return address so Santa can send a postcard back.

“Getting your letter in early will help ensure Santa has enough time to make his list, check it twice and reply to those children that provide a return address,” said Stephanie McKemy, Marketing Coordinator at Stars and Stripes.

A selections of children's letters to Santa are already available to view online and will be updated throughout the holiday season. “Some will enchant you. Some will fill you with Christmas cheer and some might leave you misty eyed. If you have trouble getting into the Christmas spirit, this is sure to be the cure,” said McKemy.
