Let's Go Learn, Inc. Announces LGL Math Edge, Online Prescriptive Learning for All Students at Kindergarten through Grade 7 Instructional Levels
Let's Go Learn, Inc. adds to its suite of prescriptive learning programs with the release of LGL Math Edge, online math instruction to use in concert with its diagnostic assessment, ADAM K7.
Kensington, CA (PRWEB) November 01, 2012
Let's Go Learn, Inc. announces the release of LGL Math Edge, the most recent of its prescriptive learning programs. Designed for all students at K-7 instructional levels, LGL Math Edge provides 300 lessons and 50+ hours of online instruction. The program covers five essential math strands: numbers and operations, algebra, geometry, data analysis, and measurement.
Let's Go Learn believes so strongly that diagnostic assessment is the foundation of prescriptive learning that LGL Math Edge can only be used if preceded by a diagnostic assessment. Math and STEM educators are invited to try a free trial of ADAM K7, Let's Go Learn's diagnostic assessment for LGL Math Edge, for an entire classroom.
ADAM K-7 uses data from 44 math sub-tests to analyze student strengths and weaknesses. Reports describe individual student performances and recommend one of five LGL Math Edge courses.
Aligned to Common Core State Standards, state standards, and National Council of Teachers of Mathematics standards, LGL Math Edge instruction prepares students for follow-on math courses, as well as for STEM education. LGL Math Edge rewards students with immediate feedback and features a scoring system that motivates students to optimal learning. Its automated reports provide teachers, parents, and students with real-time progress.
According to Richard Capone, Let's Go Learn's CEO and co-founder, LGL Math Edge is a critical addition to the company's LGL Edge online courses: “Students at K-7 instructional levels need a strong foundation in mathematics. We see this in the recent focus on STEM education. LGL Math Edge in combination with ADAM K7 gives every student access to mathematical thinking and problem solving.”
Dr. Harold Vietti, Executive Director of eScholar Academy and Classroom Systems, recounts how Let's Go Learn's diagnostic assessments and prescriptive learning paths support his students: “Our students are required daily to complete one lesson in reading and math. The success rate is very impressive. In fact, many of our students have jumped two to three grade levels in reading and math since the beginning of the school year."
