In an effort to keep the community connected during the prolonged power outage, Astoria Federal Savings will provide local residents left without power on Long Island and in Brooklyn and Queens with a safe, dry location to charge cell phones, laptops, tablets and other devices.

Additionally, the bank has waived fees for their customers' use of non-Astoria Federal ATMs, overdraft and insufficient funds and CD penalties through November 5, 2012.
