ADVISORY, Nov. 2, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

What:

The Salvation Army, a non-profit organization supporting those in need, will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square. The Salvation Army is working with a broad coalition of partners from across the city to coordinate the distribution of water and food supplies during this critical time of need. The distribution effort will continue until power and water service is restored to the impacted locations. Distribution centers are open today from 7:30am-12:30pm and from 9am-1pm on Saturday and Sunday. For locations, please visit www.salvationarmyusa.org or call 1-800-SAL-ARMY (1-800-725-2769).

In honor of the occasion, Lieutenant Colonel Guy D. Klemanski will ring the Opening Bell.
