Steve Slaton Joins RegEd as Head of Product Management

Raleigh, Nov. 2, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RegEd, a leading provider of technology solutions for compliance and risk management, today announced that Steve Slaton has joined the company as an Executive Vice President, Product Management. Steve will be responsible for full life cycle product management for RegEd's compliance and risk management, licensing and registration, and education solutions. In this leadership role, he will also define the product strategy and manage the prioritization and development of products and delivery of solutions to clients.

Steve brings over 20 years of experience to RegEd in the creation, management and delivery of software and information technology solutions.  He has expertise in all facets of software product life cycle, from development through launch to mainstream market adoption.  In particular, he has demonstrated success in organizing cross-functional  teams to  define and execute  breakthrough solutions  resulting  in  robust  sales  and  revenue  growth.

Most recently, Steve was Director of Product Management for Intuit Health, where he led all aspects of product strategy and management after Intuit's acquisition of Medfusion, Inc.   Prior to the acquisition by Intuit, Steve served as Vice President of Product Management and Marketing for Medfusion.   He also held leadership positions at Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, General Electric and Hewlett-Packard.

He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University.  Steve is a Six Sigma Greenbelt in addition to holding other professional technology designations.  He lives in Raleigh, NC with his family.
