LogMeIn Announces Update to Patent Infringement Claims Made by 01 Communique
WOBURN, Mass., Nov. 2, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LogMeIn, Inc. (Nasdaq: LOGM), a provider of essential cloud and mobile services, today announced that the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia decided to send the case brought by 01 Communique to trial rather than grant LogMeIn's motion for summary judgment.
"We are confident in the overall strength of our defense strategy around non-infringement, invalidity, and unenforceability against the claims made by 01 Communique. Today's decision by the Court is not unusual, and does not meaningfully change our defense as motions for summary judgment of non-infringement are typically not granted," said Michael Simon, CEO of LogMeIn. "As a result, we're proceeding as planned, and look forward to defending the claims at trial."
