BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Today's dynamic, highly competitive retail industry requires both a focus on time-to-market as well as safety and quality assurance in order to stay relevant and competitive. To help retailers address these ever-changing demands, Trace One today announced it will be introducing, for the first time in the North American market, the broadest suite of e-collaborative solutions for private-label product lifecycle management (PL PLM). Trace One's PL PLM offering allows retailers to more efficiently and effectively manage their brands and banners on a regional, national or global level. The suite will be featured at the PLMA 2012 Private Label Trade Show in booth #62 in the Sky Hall from November 11th - 13th.

Trace One's PL PLM offers retailers the broadest and most robust suite of products and solutions spanning marketing, product development, recipes, package-copy (pack-copy), artwork, labels, quality assurance, legal, recalls, traceability, and the ability to buy private label recipes/programs. Trace One currently provides PL PLM products and solutions to 12,500 suppliers and more than 35 retailers worldwide.

“The consumer demand for private label products is increasing with recent studies showing that one-third of consumers are buying more store brands now compared to a year ago and eight out of ten believing private label is either ‘equal to' or ‘better than' national brands,” said Jerome Malavoy, founder and CEO, Trace One. “While this growth presents a great opportunity for retailers, effectively managing product safety and legislative requirements in a fast moving environment with rapidly changing product catalogues is a major issue for all companies and requires a very specific solution. Our PL PLM suite was designed specifically to help retailers address these issues, providing them with the best-in-market functionality required to unify all processes for improved collaboration, efficiency and, ultimately, increased brand loyalty.”

The introduction of PL PLM builds upon Trace One's recent acquisition of Agentrics PLM in January 2012, its decades of expertise in helping the largest retailers and manufacturers worldwide, its seasoned leadership team, and its investment in product development. Trace One currently provides solutions for a wide array of major American retailers including Walgreens, Supervalu, and Safeway, as well as for many of the world's leading private-label brands such as Carrefour, Auchan, Casino, Marks & Spencer, and El Corte Ingles.

“As we move forward in the coming months and further enhance our offerings, we will continue to develop products and solutions that provide added value and efficiencies as well as an increased level of collaboration for all parties involved in the development of private label products,” added Malavoy.
