Prior to joining Vistra Communications, Lisa was a general assignment reporter for ABC TV20 News in Gainesville where she shot, edited, wrote and packaged news stories.

Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Florida, where she was an anchor and producer for WUSF's Florida Focus Newsbreak. In addition, she produced, edited and anchored two documentaries for the program. She also has experience working at Fox 4 in Ft. Myers and ABC Action News in Tampa.
Lisa has competed in pageants for over ten years, holding the titles: Miss University of South Florida, Miss Wesley Chapel, Miss Gasparilla, Miss Central Pasco County and others. She has also competed in the Miss America system, for Miss Florida, twice.
