Infinite Energy Acquires Texas Electricity Company Veteran Energy
Growing energy company Infinite Energy announced its acquisition of Texas-based electricity provider Veteran Energy.
(PRWEB) October 31, 2012
Infinite Energy, which serves nearly 90,000 customers in five states, was impressed with Veteran Energy's mission and business practices.
Veteran Energy was founded and owned by Kevin Barber, a United States military veteran.
“Our mission is straightforward,” said Mr. Barber. “Veteran Energy provides customers with competitively priced electric plans while also contributing to community-level veteran and active duty military support causes. We are proud to be joining forces with Infinite Energy to expand our opportunities to help our country's heroes with our “Power to Give Back” initiative."
The company has affiliations with a number of veteran and active duty military support organizations including Fisher House, the Lone Survivor Foundation and the USO. Veteran Energy is open to serving all customers, regardless of status or affiliation with the military. “We are reaching out to all customers, veteran or not to support our mission,” says Barber.
“Most people have been touched either directly or indirectly by someone that has made sacrifices to serve in our country's armed forces. My dad was in the Navy,” said Infinite Energy CEO Darin Cook. “My business partner's dad was in the Army. With Veteran Energy, we'll be giving back to our men and women in the armed forces whenever one of our customers turns on a light switch.”
