Softlink a world-leading developer of knowledge, content, library and digital asset management solutions are pleased to announce the success of the Softlink Europe northern office, based in Manchester.

Oxford, UK (PRWEB UK) 30 October 2012

The Softlink Manchester office opened in May 2012 as a result of increased business in the region and the past 6 months has been a successful time for the office, with a rise in business generation and improvements in support.

Providing both Sales and Professional Services support to clients and prospects in the North of England, Wales and Scotland, feedback from existing clients has been positive. Schools using the Oliver Library Management System have benefited greatly especially where on-site services are required and budgets are limited to spend on travel costs. Softlink delivers cost effective on-site training to both individuals and small groups of schools, providing a more personal and tailored service to clients.

Softlink is pleased to announce that Liberty, the Knowledge, Content and Library Management solution for the corporate market has been chosen by 3 new clients in the North of England.
Newcastle College, NHS Christie hospital in Manchester and University Hospital of South Manchester are the latest additions to the growing number of Liberty clients. The decision to move to Liberty was made easier in all three cases because they could see the benefits in local support.

Jane Webber, Director of Sales and Marketing at Softlink Europe spoke about the new office and its impact “We have been based in the south of the UK for over 19 years and our business has grown steadily over this period. The new Manchester office has opened up lots of opportunities and potential customers are now seeing the benefits of local support”.

Jane summarised the changes, “We found that people were looking for quick response times and dedicated account management. The Manchester office has proved our commitment to the north of the UK and with new Softlink agents across Europe, Middle East and Africa we are now providing a level of service that is generating a lot of interest from companies that may not have considered Softlink in the past”.
