"I want to teach people how to use food as medicine -- as a preventative measure and as a cure," shares Feker.

The 2013 Hospital Food Fight event, which includes educational sessions, small plate tastings, children's activities and more, will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the Country Springs Hotel in Pewaukee. According to Theresa Reagan, Stillwaters' executive director, “We couldn't be happier to have Michael lend his unmatched energy and creativity to the Hospital Food Fight. He is a great, passionate ambassador for healthy, flavorful food. His expertise and reputation will raise this event to a whole new level.”

"During the year 2012 over 1.5 million Americans were diagnosed with cancer and it is estimated that approximately 1,500 people die from cancer every day. The percentage of people surviving cancer is on the rise, and I am honored to be a party of Stillwaters program as the strive to increase this number of success stories. I also want to empower people to take back their health, to eliminate over-processed and impure foods and to take people back to the basics of cooking and consuming pure, unaltered foods that the body can digest. Changing your diet is one small step that can make a giant impact on your life," explains Feker.
