HBJ Selects Server Side Design as One of the Best Places to Work for Second Year in a Row


Server Side Design, Inc. was selected as one of the Best Places to Work in 2012 by the Houston Business Journal.

For the second year in a row, the Houston Business Journal has selected Server Side Design, Inc. as one of the Best Places to Work in the Houston area. The Houston-based web marketing company was chosen for the 10 to 100 employees category and placed fourth. This year, more than 75 companies, including SSD, received honors at an awards ceremony at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Houston, 2222 West Loop South, Houston.

“This award is for everyone who has contributed to the success of Server Side Design,” said Roger Janik, SSD president and principal. “I have stressed from the beginning that having a pleasant working environment is equally as important as producing outstanding work. The employees at SSD made this award happen, not just once, but now twice. Of course, their hard work reflects how much they are willing to put into our company. Because we have such a great working atmosphere, I believe that we would not be where we are today without their dedication.”

There are three other lists of honorees including Houston-based companies with 101 to 500 employees, Houston-based companies with 500 or more employees and companies not based in Houston with more than 150 employees.

Honorees are selected based on their achievement in balancing a stable and productive work setting that also projects a pleasurable atmosphere. The Houston Business Journal honors companies where happy employees are the key to success, whose employees want to come to work and where everybody knows your name.
