Bill Berry Music Presents Songwriter's Square: Going Nashville Style in Silverlake

Sunday, November 18, Bangles' Debbi Peterson joins other Los Angeles songwriters to perform in the style of Nashville's Bluebird Café.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 26, 2012

Songwriter Bill Berry (Sons & Daughters – ABC TV) in association with the Lyric-Hyperion Theatre & Café in Silverlake (Los Angeles) presents Songwriter's Square. Based on the intimate setting of venues like the Bluebird Café in Nashville, Songwriter's Square offers a fresh take on the traditional singer/songwriter performance format.

“We're now in the fourth month of this series and the response has been tremendous”, says Berry. “I invite great writers who know each other, know each other's songs and have co-written songs. This month will be special.”

Songwriter's Square takes place on the third Sunday of each month at 7:30 PM. Joining host Bill Berry on November 18th are:

Bangles' drummer Debbi Peterson in a seldom seen solo performance.

John Wicks of The Records, pioneers of the UK power pop scene with their hit single, “Starry Eyes”.

Gene Siegel of Station Victoria who recently released their self-titled CD.

Songwriter's Square premiered this past July 22 and subsequent third Sundays to sold-out audiences. Previous writers have included Emmy winning writer Tracy Newman, Grammy Nominee Harriet Schock and Emmy Nominee Paul F. Perry
