Element One Providing Three Photographers and Silent Auction Prize for 20th Anniversary Pink Tie in Denver

Denver, CO (PRWEB) October 26, 2012

The Susan G. Komen for the Cure's Denver Metropolitan Affiliate is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year with their annual Pink Tie Affair, including dinner, dancing, casino games, and other entertainments, and Element One Photography of Littleton, Colorado is helping them commemorate the occasion.

Element One Photography has donated three event photographers for the evening, a $500 gift card for the silent auction, and 8 event head shots for the organization's Pink Tie Guys, who will be honored at the event. The Pink Tie Guys are selected for their outstanding dedication to the fight against breast cancer.

Element One Photography's owner Kim Walz said of their donation, “I can't think of many organizations that I would be more honored to donate Element One Photography's time to. I have been so inspired by meeting many women who have survived or who are battling breast cancer.”

The donation to the Pink Tie Affair is not Element One Photography's first or only work with breast cancer cause. Ms. Walz talked about a previous effort, “I am particularly inspired by Heather Blakely Voyles that I had the privilege to meet and photograph in Wyoming for the Honor Your Hero Campaign with Cheerios. She is a school teacher that beat all the odds and has now adopted a beautiful baby that I can't wait to photograph!”

When asked about the role of photography in inspiring women diagnosed with breast cancer, she added, “If I can make a difference in anyone's life by making them feel beautiful, and by documenting their journey beautifully, I will gladly do it.”

The Pink Tie Affair is expected to entertain between 800 and 900 guests. The total value of the donation by Element One Photography is estimated at $16,600. Element One Photography was named a Ruby Sponsor by Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

About Element One

Kim Walz founded Element One Photography after more than five years working for a corporately-owned studio. She decided to form her own studio to create portraits that better reflected the true character of her subjects, something that she felt could only come from spending one-on-one time with individuals and families through all phases of the photography process. Having set up her store-front in Downtown Littleton, she feels that the unique look and feel of her studio contributes to the special character of her photography.
