Today Dailyindepth, a news site specializing in health, lifestyle, travel, technology, business and inspirational news, features Stephan Ridley's journey of self-discovery.

After working 16 months as an analyst at an investment bank in England, Ridley walked into his boss's office, quit on the spot and left to pursue his dream – playing the piano.

“One day at my desk, I suddenly became very angry at myself. Angry that I had allowed my life to become so uninspired, angry at who I had become,” he recalls. “I had become numb and I wanted to feel again. I went into work three hours late, walked straight to my boss's desk and quit. Twenty minutes later I stood in the sunshine. No Blackberry, no security pass, no weight on my shoulders.”

Just one month after rolling his piano into a busy London street, Ridley was offered nine management contracts and began recording his first album. Now a signed musician, he's currently working on a second record, and continues to serve as a symbol of hope, urging us to “stop acting like we'll live forever.” The time to live our dream is now.
