HSINCHU, Taiwan, Oct. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Bermuda) LTD. ("ChipMOS" or the "Company'') (NASDAQ: IMOS) today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 2,500,000 of its common shares at a price of US$10.10 per share. 1,700,000 common shares are being offered by Company shareholder ThaiLin Semiconductor Corp. ("ThaiLin"), a subsidiary of ChipMOS, and 800,000 common shares are being offered by Company shareholder Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd. ("Siliconware Precision"). In addition, the underwriters have an option to purchase up to an additional 300,000 shares from ThaiLin. ThaiLin will receive the proceeds from its sale of ChipMOS' common shares in this offering. ChipMOS will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of shares by Siliconware Precision. The offering is expected to close on or about October 31, 2012, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

Cowen and Company, LLC and Craig-Hallum Capital Group LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
