UFA and Paul Brandt Kick Off Small Town Heroes Bus Tour

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 25, 2012) - UFA is excited to announce that Paul Brandt, Country Music Superstar, is kicking off a bus tour that will see him perform private concerts for the two UFA Small Town Heroes contest grand prize recipients, an additional concert in appreciation of the eight finalists, and participate in meet-and-greets at UFA locations across Alberta.

The tour will commence with an Appreciation Concert in Ponoka on Thursday, October 25, before heading to private performances for the Small Town Heroes contest grand prize recipients: Ed Boychuk from Smoky Lake on Friday, October 26, and Mack Erno from Teepee Creek on Sunday, October 28. Along the route, Albertans will have the opportunity to meet Paul Brandt at one of the UFA meet-and-greet locations. The complete schedule for the tour can be found below.

The UFA Small Town Heroes initiative honours rural Albertans who see a need in their community and act on it, making a long-lasting, positive impact with no desire for accolades or compensation. These Small Town Heroes are nominated by members of their communities. In addition to the Paul Brandt concert, the two grand prize winners also receive $10,000 for a community initiative.
