Market Overview News: Springsteen, E Street Band in Pepsi Center for Tour

(EMAILWIRE.COM, October 30, 2012 ) Denver, COBruce Springsteen and E Street Band is coming to Pepsi Center, Denver, Colorado, for one night of rocking music. It will be held on November 19, 2012, Monday, at 7:30 p.m.

Springsteen and his band are currently on the road for another hit tour called the Wrecking Ball, which kicked off in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 18, 2012. The audience are sure to be treated to a very extensive set list, including Blinded by the Light, Growing Up, Rosalita (Come Out Tonight), Born to Run, Thunder Road, Night, Pink Cadillac, Stand On It, Janey, Dont Lose Your Heart, Born in the USA, Streets of Philadelphia, and some tracks from his newest album Wrecking Ball such as Rocky Ground and Death to My Hometown.

Theyre also set to perform cover songs like Raise Your Hand, Louie Louie, Mountain of Love, Proud Mary, Summer Wind, California Sun, I Fought the Law, and Twist and Shout. All tours will feature Tenth Avenue Freeze Out, as homage to Clarence Clemons who died of a heart attack in 2011. Wrecking Ball will be the first tour of E Street Band without him.

Wrecking Ball has already traveled to different cities and towns in United States, Canada, and some parts of Western Europe. The audience is promised to more than 2 hours of ground-breaking music.

After Denver, Colorado, the entourage is scheduled to perform in Vancouver, Canada; Portland, Ohio; Anaheim, California; Mexico City, Mexico; and Rio de Janiero, Brazil, on September 13, 2013.

Wrecking Ball is one of the most successful tours of the year with 98 percent ticket sales, amounting to $183 million.

The tour is named after Springsteens seventeenth album, Wrecking Ball, under Columbia Records. It went on sale in the market last March 5, 2012. Some of the well-known tracks are Death to My Hometown and Rocky Ground.

Like most of his albums, this was a massive hit, taking the first spot in music charts across over 10 countries, including the United Kingdom. It also received overwhelming positive reviews from critics such as Metacritic and the Rolling Stone, calling it musically turbulent. BBC Music refers to it as varied and surprising.

The huge success, however, is no longer surprising as Bruce Springsteen, also called the Boss, has been achieving that for many years. All throughout his career, he bagged more than 20 Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Vocal Perofmrnace in 1984 and 1987, Best Rock Song and Song of the Year for Streets of Philadelphia, Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song in 2002, and Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance for Working on a Dream last 2009. He also won 2 Golden Globes, 1 Academy Awards, and 1 Emmys.
