Social Strategy1 and Knowledge@Wharton, will host the Social Media Leadership Awards best practices workshop, with support from Ernst & Young, on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Wharton School Philadelphia campus. Speakers include Ted Rubin, leading social media marketing strategist and Chief Social Marketing Officer at Collective Bias, and Barry Libert, author and CEO, OpenMatters.

“If organizations want to ensure their long-term success as well as their future prosperity,” said Barry Libert, “they need to move forward in embracing these technologies and the cultural shifts they require.”

The highly anticipated Best Practices Workshop features social media executives from AonCognizantGirl Scouts of the USANational Association of Corporate Directors, and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney – all of whom will discuss the mechanics of their social media initiatives. This half-day workshop will provide an exclusive opportunity for social-minded professionals to convene with digital media, corporate marketing and entrepreneurial front-runners.
