Hill+Knowlton Strategies Appoints Mylene Mangalindan as Senior Vice President of Media Relations
Hill+Knowlton Strategies announced today the appointment of Mylene Mangalindan as senior vice president of media relations working with the corporate and technology practice groups. Mangalindan will be based out of the firm's San Francisco office and will report to Paul Turner, EVP and General Manager of H+K San Francisco.
Mangalindan is an experienced professional with broad expertise in corporate reputation management and brand communications. She has a strong track record of delivering results and is highly skilled in media and influencer relations, crisis communications, internal communications, industry analyst relations and digital communications.
“Mylene will bring an incredible depth of media relations expertise to the team in San Francisco,” said Turner. “She has been both a journalist and an in-house communications professional, providing her with a unique understanding of how to build and deliver impactful and resonant communications programs. Her experience and visibility in the marketplace will provide significant value to our existing clients and help to open new doors for H+K.”
Prior to joining H+K, Mangalindan was vice president of corporate communications at Rearden Commerce, Inc. where she managed public relations and internal communications. In this role, she developed analyst relationships and social media programs for the company and led the development of corporate positioning, messaging and customer communications.
Mangalindan previously served as director of corporate communications at Hewlett Packard where she was responsible for financial communications, crisis management, corporate positioning, and press and media relations.
In addition, Mangalindan has deep experience writing and reporting for top financial and business publications. She was a staff writer for The Wall Street Journal for eight years, leading the paper's e-commerce coverage. She also reported for Bloomberg News covering software and internet technology.

Mangalindan holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master's of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
