COLUMBIA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

“Ensuring close, attentive customer service to keep satisfaction levels high is one of the key challenges in growing an organization with a couple hundred customers mostly based in the Western Hemisphere to one with many hundreds of clients around the world,” said George Schlossnagle, president and CEO of Message Systems. “We're determined to meet that challenge, and I'm excited that Rich Bowman is joining us to head up our customer success team. Over the past few months we've initiated multiple new customer relationships and expanded implementations with many existing clients, all of which has increased demand for strategic guidance on effectively managing Message Systems solutions. With our newly built out facilities and the people and resources in place to handle a rapid influx of new business, Message Systems is well-positioned to boost customer satisfaction levels higher than ever, even as we enter this next stage of growth.”

Rich Bowman is a results-driven digital communications leader with global experience maximizing customer satisfaction via sales success, services and support teams. As vice president customer success, Rich will serve as the senior executive in charge of global customer services and sales engineering for Message Systems. Respected throughout Silicon Valley and Europe, Rich is well known in the technology industry for developing success-oriented teams, instilling operational excellence and nurturing customers into enthusiastic advocates who can articulate the business value of the brand and positively influence new buying decisions. Rich comes to Message Systems from the industry-leading mobile networking enterprise, iPass, where he led global customer success, support and services teams. Before iPass, Rich was the general manager of European operations for Tumbleweed and Axway where he oversaw global engineering, services and support. This latest announcement follows closely on news of several Message System customer wins, including XING and US Airways, a major new product announcement and a significant expansion of the company's worldwide office space.

“The most awesome businesses develop great products through great engineering, and provide tremendous service to customers via respect, transparency and a 100% inspired commitment to their success,” said Mr. Bowman. “The customer success team at Message Systems has gotten off to a great start in implementing this model, and I'm committed to building on that effort. We're determined to turn every Message Systems client into a ‘raving fan' - the happiest and most successful customers in the industry.”
