REALTOR® Foundation of the Triangle R.E.A.P. 2012
The 2012 REALTOR® Foundation of the Triangle R.E.A.P Project stands for REALTORS® Enhancing Area Properties, and aligns with the Foundation's overall mission of “Improving Homes and Improving Lives.” R.E.A.P. is funded in part by a grant provided by Homes 4NC and will have a meaningful impact on the day-to-day lives of 125 deserving members of our community.
Saturday, November 3, 8:30 am – 2:00 pm, in the Meadow Creek neighborhood of Raleigh (corner of Rock Quarry Road and Blazing Star Lane), REALTOR® volunteers will work side-by-side with Meadow Creek residents to improve landscaping, provide fencing, a pet waste station, irrigation system repairs and more. A local junk removal company, Junk Patrol, is also participating by hauling away work site debris and unwanted items.
“We hope to have 100 or more volunteers working together to sow the seeds so this community can “REAP” the harvest it deserves,” said Mark Connor, Co-chair of the RFT's Housing Opportunity Subcommittee and past president of Homes 4NC.
“We are excited about this opportunity of helping beautify the Meadow Creek neighborhood of Raleigh. These residents take pride in home ownership and are so deserving of this valiant effort. It is an honor to serve and enhance the quality of life of others,” Connor concluded.
