Teleflex Extends Agreement with Novation for Laryngoscopes and Accessories
Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE: TFX), a leading global provider of medical devices for critical care and surgery, has announced a two-year extension with Novation for Rusch® Laryngoscopes and Accessories. The single-source agreement will offer these products to the members served by Novation through July 31, 2015.
Teleflex provides a complete line of Rusch Laryngoscopes and Accessories including single-use disposable and reusable blades, fiber optic and standard handles, and specialty products. By offering a comprehensive product line, Teleflex allows anesthesiologists to access a broad range of innovative products from the Green Rusch® Lite™ Fiber Optic Blade, which is designed to reduce the potential for infection, to difficult airway optical systems designed to reduce force needed to intubate.
“The extension of this partnership with Novation demonstrates the dedication Teleflex has to working directly with healthcare professionals to give them the reliable tools they need,” said Cary Vance, President of the Teleflex Anesthesia and Respiratory Division. “By making high-quality products accessible to such a large group of providers, Teleflex strives to ensure that intubation is as simple, convenient, and as safe as possible for the patient.”
