CACI Awarded $70 Million Contract to Provide IT Support to Department of Housing and Urban Development
CACI International Inc (NYSE:CACI) announced today that it has been awarded a $70 million task order contract to continue providing information technology (IT) and software development support to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD). The award was issued against the General Services Administration (GSA) Alliant Government-wide Acquisition Contract vehicle. This award reinforces CACI's diverse portfolio of business in the federal civilian sector.
The HUD CPD Office seeks to develop viable communities by promoting integrated approaches that provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expand economic opportunities for low and moderate income persons. CPD administers programs with over $7 billion in community development and assistance grants annually. CACI is providing software development and general IT support to maintain, enhance, and increase the efficiency of CPD's grant management systems.
CACI has been delivering on this program since 2007 and is uniquely qualified to perform this work. The company has successfully implemented several of the grant management systems that CPD continues to use today, and CACI's wide-ranging functional and technical expertise and familiarity with HUD's reporting software further qualify it to provide high-value solutions that will continue to benefit HUD and its grantees.
