Quarterly Changes to the NASDAQ Q-50 Index

NEW YORK, Sept. 17, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. NDAQ announced today the results of the quarterly re-ranking of the NASDAQ Q-50 IndexSM NXTQ, which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, September 24, 2012.

The following nine securities will be added to the Index: Concur Technologies, Inc. CNQR, Facebook, Inc. FB, Groupon, Inc. GRPN, Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. MLNX, NXP Semiconductors N.V. NXPI, ONYX Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ONXX, Royal Gold, Inc. RGLD, tw telecom inc. TWTC and Western Digital Corporation WDC.

The Index is designed to track the performance of the 50 securities that are next in line to replace the securities currently included in the NASDAQ-100 Index®. The NASDAQ Q-50 Index is re-ranked on a quarterly basis. As a result of the re-ranking, the following nine securities will be removed from the Index: Atmel Corporation ATML, Endo Health Solutions Inc. ENDP, Informatica Corporation INFA, Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. LECO, MercadoLibre, Inc. MELI, ON Semiconductor Corporation ONNN, Patterson Companies, Inc. PDCO, Ryanair Holdings plc RYAAY and Sina Corporation SINA.
