NFTE Philadelphia Welcomes Philip P. Jaurigue to Advisory Board

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Today, NFTE Philadelphia announced that Philip P. Jaurigue, President and CEO of Sabre Systems, Inc., has agreed to join its advisory board. Phil has previously served NFTE as a business plan judge and a major donor to the Greater Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia NFTE offices. He currently serves as co-chair for NFTE Philadelphia's 2012 Visionary Gala, which will be held on November 29, 2012 at Vie.

“NFTE Philadelphia has added an experienced and generous entrepreneur to its advisory board,” said Sylvia Watts McKinney, Executive Director of NFTE Philadelphia. “Phil Jaurigue has committed himself not only to business success, but to serving his community by sharing his expertise, time, and other resources to extend NFTE's goal to empower and educate young entrepreneurs. Phil will be a valuable asset to our advisory board as NFTE continues to serve the youth of Philadelphia.”

The role of the Advisory Board is to represent NFTE in the community, assist with the articulation of the mission and program's impact, model effective leadership of philanthropy and provide strategic counsel to staff toward achievement of operating goals.

Phil brings decades of entrepreneurial experience to the NFTE Philadelphia's Advisory Board. He joins an accomplished group of local businesspeople who currently serve on the advisory board, including founding co-chairs Doug Alexander, President of ICG ICGE, and Peter J. Boni, President and CEO of Safeguard Scientifics SFE. Other board members include:
