Boost Mobile Announces Million Dollar Giveaway as part of Travis Pastrana Sponsorship

Boost Mobile, an industry leader in no-contract wireless service, today announces the Travis Pastrana Million Dollar Giveaway as part of its sponsorship of NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Travis Pastrana and the No. 99 Boost Mobile Toyota.

To celebrate Pastrana's debut in the NASCAR Nationwide Series on April 27 at Richmond International Raceway all Boost customers in good standing with an active Boost Mobile Samsung device on July 28 will have the opportunity to win $1 million if Pastrana wins his last race of the season on the Nationwide Series, currently scheduled for Sept. 1 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. No purchase is necessary to win.1

As part of the excitement building up to the final race, five lucky winners will be randomly selected to attend the Atlanta 300 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Those selected will receive airfare and hotel accommodations for two in Atlanta, race tickets and a pre-race, in-person meeting with Pastrana. The $1 million prize would be awarded as 20 annual payments of $50,000. For official rules, visit

“Travis has always been known as a crowd pleaser and we know that will continue when he makes his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut,” said Andre Smith, vice president-Boost Mobile. “With the Travis Pastrana Million Dollar Giveaway, our customers with a Samsung device can share in the excitement throughout the spring and summer building up to the Atlanta race and have the chance of a lifetime to win $1 million when Travis is victorious.”

In addition to his Nationwide Series debut race at Richmond, Pastrana plans to race in six other races on the Nationwide Series:

May 11 – Darlington, S.C.
May 26 – Charlotte, N.C.
July 14 – Loudon, N.H.
July 22 – Chicago
July 28 – Indianapolis
Sept. 1 – Atlanta

In January 2011 Boost Mobile and Samsung Mobile announced the sponsorship of Pastrana for his debut in the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series to drive the No. 99 Boost Mobile Toyota. But two nights before the race Pastrana suffered a broken right foot and ankle while attempting a motorcycle trick during the Summer X Games in Los Angeles. He has recovered from that injury.
