The Young Patrons' Circle (YPC) at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) invites you experience the greatest party on earth - PROM: CIRCUS. Hosted by MTV's Sharlene Chiu and Johnny Hockin, and inspired by the wonder of the Museum's world cultures and natural history collections, the YPC's seventh annual fundraiser takes place Saturday, March 31, 2012.

Co-chaired by Andrea Anders and Nicole Tuschak, along with a committee of Toronto's top young arts and business leaders, PROM: CIRCUS is an event enjoyed by hundreds of YPC members and their guests. Experience a fantastic evening of live entertainment and dancing, extraordinary activities, and a gourmet feast for the senses all under the ROM's big top.

"PROM is one of the most highly anticipated special events of the season and this year's circus theme is sure to wow YPC members and guests," says Dianne Lister, President & Executive Director of the ROM Governors. "It's a great opportunity to discover the spirit of YPC while supporting cutting-edge curatorial research and educational initiatives through the YPC Research Fund."

Welcoming more than 700 guests each year, PROM is the annual Young Patrons' Circle fundraising event for the ROM. Proceeds support ROM priorities, including education and programming, gallery and exhibition development, artifact acquisition and care, and international curatorial research.

VIP tickets include exclusive access to a pre-party reception beginning at 8 pm with Museum curators, mouth-watering dishes and special access to a private bar throughout the evening. VIP guests will be joined under the big top by the couture crowd for main event at 9 pm.

For this one-night-only event, guests are encouraged to dress in their best Gaga Glam and Clowny Couture. The greatest party on earth would be nothing without saucy stripes, daring dresses, ringleader ruffles, candy-coloured bow ties and turn-of-the-century top hats.

VIP tickets are $275 each for YPC members and $300 for non-members. Tickets for the main event(doors open 9 pm) are $125 each for YPC members, $150 for non-members. About the Young Patrons' Circle
Since the Young Patrons' Circle burst onto Toronto's cultural scene in 2005, it has attracted a dynamic group of visionary philanthropists to the Royal Ontario Museum.
