New DSEC™ Online Community Launches at Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting

Cambridge Healthtech Associates™ (CHA™) and the Drug Safety Executive Council™ (DSEC™) are pleased to announce that they will be exhibiting at the Society of Toxicology (SOT) Annual Meeting, taking place at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco from March 11 to March 15.

To fulfill the new DSEC mission … helping to provide ‘Safer Medicines. Faster', DSEC is launching its new, revamped website at this meeting of the Society of Toxicology.

The Drug Safety Executive Council is an online community focused on the development of better and safer medicines. As part of this launch, the community is being expanded. Beyond the traditional members from Biotech and Pharmaceutical Companies, DSEC is opening up membership to Governmental Agencies, Academia, Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and Technology Providers to engage a wider audience in the drug safety space.

The DSEC goal has been to exchange information through webinars, newsletters and face-to-face meetings among groups representing the membership. DSEC will continue these activities, but now on a broader and more comprehensive scale, by growing the membership, providing more content, engaging in open discussions & forums, greater interactivity, news items and other features.

To enable a worldwide conversation on drug safety, the DSEC community vision is to:

• elevate the dialogue
• increase the exchange of ideas
• facilitate the provision of safer medicines, faster
