RigNet Opens Full-Service Office in Macae, Brazil, Names Mauricio Rubinsztajn as General Manager

RNET, a leading global provider of managed remote communications solutions to the oil and gas industry, today announced the opening of a full-service office in Macaé, Brazil under the leadership of Mauricio Rubinsztajn, RigNet's general manager for Brazil.

RigNet's Macaé office, a sales and service center, positions RigNet to provide high-quality managed remote communications solutions and collaborative applications to drilling contractors, oil and gas operators and oilfield service companies conducting business in Brazil.

Rubinsztajn has joined RigNet from Harris CapRock Communications where he served most recently as director of operations, South America. His extensive remote communications background includes management and sales roles with STM Networks, Intelsat and Embratel. He holds a B.Sc. in communications engineering from the Military Institute of Engineering (IME) in Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
