IntegraMed's Attain Fertility Centers to Manage Fertility Operations For UNC Health Care

IntegraMed^® America, Inc. INMD, the leader in developing, marketing and managing specialty healthcare facilities in the fertility and vein care markets, announced today that its Attain Fertility^® Centers Division (AFC) has entered into an agreement with UNC Health Care System's (UNC) to manage its fertility clinic operations. With this agreement, the Attain Fertility^® Network will comprise 15 partner practices and 23 affiliate fertility centers throughout the U.S.

Under the agreement, the newly formed LLC will receive IntegraMed's full complement of support services, including operational and financial management, revenue cycle management, patient marketing and sales, information systems support, and various other services, including patient support through Attainfertility.com.

The practice is staffed by four board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologists (REs): Drs. Marc A. Fritz, Steven L. Young, Jennifer E. Mersereau and Anne Z. Steiner, along with a lab director and office staff. To improve patient access in the region, the practice will be relocated to the Research Triangle Park area, where AFC and UNC will work together to develop a highly visible practice and brand. The move is anticipated to take place in the first half of 2012.
