Chestnut Hill, PA (PRWEB) December 14, 2011

As part of an aggressive expansion plan, Children of America will open a new school in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania. Located in a former Borders bookstore, the Chestnut Hill location is Children of America's largest facility to date.

"The Chestnut Hill location marks a major milestone in Children of America history," said Thad Pryor, Children of America President and CEO. "We are so proud to be building our largest facility yet, and are excited to introduce our unique childcare program to the families in the Chestnut Hill area."

Chestnut Hill is a quaint, upscale neighborhood in Philadelphia. The impressive 16,089-square-foot facility can house up to 234 children, enabling Children of America to service more local families. The new school will feature a 1,955-square-foot indoor playground, and will have larger common areas, more than any other site.

"The new Chestnut Hill facility is beautiful," said Jim Perretty, Vice President and COO of Children of America. "We invite local families to request a tour to learn about the Children of America difference in educational childcare and daycare.”

The new center is equipped with state-of-the-art security systems and also utilizes additional safeguarding measures such as assigning each child a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that signals their arrival and departure and an Internet access program, AlwaysCloseBy.com which allows parents to check-in on their children throughout the day via streaming video of the classrooms and play areas.

Children of America Chestnut Hill is located at 8701 Germantown Avenue, Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania 19118. Construction of the new school is expected to be complete in March 2012.
